According to the hygiene report by Prof. Dr. Med. Zastrow, TOTO's Tornado Flush practically eliminates the spread of intestinal pathogens (aerosol spray) compared to conventional flush systems, setting a new standard for household health.
The TOTO Hygiene Trinity
1. Tornado Flush™
Three high-pressure water jets generate a powerful whirlpool that cleans every inch of the bowl. This system is highly efficient (using just 4.5 litres) and operates without the splash/spray often associated with rimless toilets.
2. CeFiONtect™ Glaze
TOTO's special glaze is fired into the ceramic, creating a surface smoothness measured in nanometers. Unlike standard ceramic, which has microscopic ridges for waste to cling to, CeFiONtect is so smooth that dirt simply slides off.
3. Rimless Design
The MH bowl is completely rimless. There are no ceramic overhangs or box rims where bacteria can accumulate unseen. A simple wipe is all that is needed to maintain a sparkling clean bowl.

Excellent review by Brown Diana on 9/28/2017Really like the toilet. Excellent flush! (Always important) and it does not splash nor mist outside of the pan. We had to fiddle about with the pan waste but that's more a problem with our bathroom layout than the toilet.
