It Started With an Idea and a Dream
In 2010, Jaka and Jure Rogel saw that washing with water, normal in Japan and Korea for decades, was about to reach Europe. Almost nobody here sold bidet seats properly, and nobody could tell you whether one would fit your toilet.
So they started doing it themselves. They visited factories in Seoul and Xiamen, learned how the seats are built and tested, and began developing their own seats under the Maro D'Italia name. In 2011 they opened Tooaleta to serve UK customers, alongside the world's leading brands such as TOTO, Geberit and Roca.
We are still family-owned and still small enough to care. When you email us, a real specialist replies, often a member of the family. Our customers are our best ambassadors, and most of our business comes from their recommendations.

Seoul: Assembly Line & Showroom
We work on the factory floor in Seoul, Korea, with the manufacturers who build our first Maro D'Italia DI600 seats.
Seoul: Durability Testing
Every seat model runs through long-term durability tests that simulate years of daily use before it reaches a customer.
Quality Control on Every Component
Water pressure, temperature control, nozzle precision and seat function are checked one by one. Here, our DI800 seat is under test.
Still Family-Owned
We run our own warehouse and Repair & Service Centre, work with partners in eight countries and supply homes, hotels and businesses across Europe and beyond. It is still the same family, with the same focus.
