The Essence of Hygiene: TECEone

In a world of overly complex technology, the TECEone Shower Toilet (9700212) stands out for its elegant simplicity. It strips the bidet toilet back to its most essential function: cleaning with fresh, pure water.

Designed and manufactured in Germany, the TECEone operates without electricity. There are no remote controls to lose, no electronics to fail, and no complex wiring to install. It connects directly to your cold water supply and uses hydraulic pressure to extend the shower arm, delivering an invigorating and thorough cleanse.

The "Cold Water" Philosophy

Far from being uncomfortable, a cold water wash is recognized by health professionals for its ability to stimulate circulation and relieve inflammation. It provides a feeling of absolute freshness that warm water cannot replicate—similar to washing your face in the morning.

No Electricity Required

German Engineering. Pure Function.

⚙

Powerless Performance

By removing the need for electricity, the TECEone eliminates the headache of Part P electrical compliance in the UK. It can be installed anywhere a water feed is available, making it the perfect, hassle-free upgrade for cloakrooms.

💧

Rimless Architecture

The ceramic bowl features a modern Rimless Design. With no overhanging rim for dirt to hide under, the entire bowl is flushed effectively. An integrated splash guard ensures the water stays exactly where it should—inside the ceramic.

🛡

Hygienic Safety Standards

Your safety is paramount. The TECEone features integrated backflow protection that fully complies with EN 1717 standards, ensuring no contaminated water can ever flow back into your mains supply.

Is a cold water wash uncomfortable?

Most first-time users are surprised by how pleasant it is. The water is cool and fresh, offering an invigorating, wake-up sensation that many clients prefer over warm water, especially in warmer months.

What frame do I need for this toilet?

The TECEone fits any standard wall-hung frame with 180mm fixing centres (e.g., TECE, Geberit, GROHE). You simply need to ensure your plumber installs a dedicated cold water feed to the toilet location.

How do I clean the nozzle?

The system is self-cleaning; it automatically rinses the shower arm with fresh water before and after every use. For deep cleaning, the nozzle tips can be easily removed by hand without tools.

Does it need a power socket?

No. This is a purely mechanical system. It is ideal for bathrooms where installing a new electrical point would be difficult, expensive, or violate safety zones.

Didn’t want electrics or a massive faff, so went for the TECEone. It’s simple, does what it says, and the rinse is nicer than I expected even on cold. Perfect for a downstairs loo or guest bathroom.
