How does it work? Just like your bathroom shower mixer, the TECEone connects directly to your hot and cold water pipes. The integrated thermostatic cartridge mixes the water instantly to your preferred temperature, delivering a high-volume wash without the need for electricity.

How is the water heated?

The toilet itself does not heat water. Instead, it connects to your home's existing hot water supply (via a combi-boiler or system tank) and mixes it with cold water. This ensures limitless warm water with zero electricity cost.

Is it safe for UK water systems?

Yes. The unit features integrated backflow protection compliant with DIN EN 1717. This prevents dirty water from contaminating your mains supply, meeting UK water regulations without external check valves.

Do I need a specific wall frame?

The ceramic fits any standard frame with 180mm fixing centres. However, you must ensure your plumber installs both hot and cold water feeds to the toilet location. TECE offers specific upgrade kits for their frames to facilitate this connection.

Will I get cold water initially?

This depends on the pipe run from your hot water source. Like a shower, there may be a brief delay while hot water travels to the unit. Many installers loop the hot feed near the toilet to minimize this lag.
