TOTO WASHLET® RG EWATER+ with RP Close-Coupled WC and Hidden Connections
A floor-standing RP shower toilet with an adjustable warm-water wash, automatic bowl pre-misting and an integrated deodoriser.
The TOTO RG EWATER+ close-coupled shower toilet set combines the TCF34270GEU WASHLET, CW561Y#XW rimless pan and SW561DY#W ceramic cistern. PREMIST dampens the bowl before use, while the deodoriser filters air during and shortly after use. The matching cistern sits directly on the pan, and the separately ordered TCA567 kit conceals the WASHLET water hose and power lead.

Order TCA567 separately for the hidden installation. This RP-specific kit is required to conceal the WASHLET water hose and power lead. Order the waste connector and any site-specific fittings separately.

TORNADO FLUSH
Directed water swirls around the bowl. Select a 3 L reduced or 4.5 L full flush using the button on the cistern cover.
CEFIONTECT glaze
The smooth glaze helps reduce residue adhesion. It works alongside PREMIST, which dampens the ceramic before use.
PREMIST, odour absorption and personalised washing
PREMIST and EWATER+
Before use, PREMIST wets the inner bowl with a fine mist of water so residue is less likely to cling to the ceramic. After washing, EWATER+ uses electrolysed tap water to clean the spray wand. You can also start wand cleaning from the remote.
Automatic deodoriser
An activated charcoal filter helps reduce odours by drawing air from the bowl during and immediately after use.
Three adjustable warm-water sprays
Choose rear, soft rear or front washing. Fine-tune water pressure, temperature and wand position. Use oscillation for wider coverage or massage for a varying spray pressure.
Heated seat and two user memories
Choose your seat warmth independently and save wash-water temperature, pressure and wand position for two users on the supplied remote.
The RG heats wash water as it flows and has a gently closing seat and lid. Energy-saving settings help manage seat heating. Use the built-in descaling programme or remove the spray nozzle for manual descaling, following TOTO’s care instructions.
Plan the hidden connections before fitting
Allow space for the pan and cistern
The floor-standing pan is 700 mm deep. TOTO’s drawing shows a nominal 836 mm from finished floor to cistern top with the pan and cistern assembled. Check door clearance and have your installer confirm the waste position and connector.
Set out the water and power supplies
The cistern takes its water supply from the rear. Use the RP and TCA567 drawings to plan the WASHLET’s cold-water and electrical connections. If retaining an existing left- or right-hand angle valve, have your installer check whether TOTO’s separate HM561UK (G ½) or HM561EU (G ⅜) cistern kit suits the valve thread and layout.

RG EWATER+ and RP close-coupled set FAQs
Do I need the TCA567 connection kit?
Yes. TCA567 is the connection kit TOTO specifies for fitting this WASHLET to the RP close-coupled pan with concealed water and power routing. Order it separately from the three-piece bundle.
How do I flush the toilet?
Use the 3 L or 4.5 L button on the ceramic cistern cover. The wireless remote controls the WASHLET’s washing functions.
What does the RG add to the RG Lite?
Both seats have EWATER+ wand cleaning, adjustable warm-water sprays and a heated seat. The RG adds PREMIST to dampen the bowl before use and an automatic deodoriser to filter air.

Practical, refined and worth planning properly review by Daniel on 4/30/2026I installed this model in my own home after fitting a few TOTO units for clients. I chose the close-coupled RG with hidden connections because I wanted something easier to integrate than a full concealed-frame system, but still clean enough visually for a renovated bathroom.
From an installer’s point of view, planning is important. You still need to think properly about the water feed, electrical supply and positioning. If you treat it like a standard close-coupled toilet and only think about the WASHLET at the end, you may not get the best result. With the hidden connection version, the finished look is much better, but it is worth making sure the installer understands what is required before starting.
In daily use, the product is excellent. The spray is adjustable enough for different users, the water is warm without waiting, and the self-cleaning wand gives more confidence than cheaper bidet seats I have seen. The PREMIST and EWATER+ functions are difficult to judge visibly day to day, but the toilet stays cleaner than our old one and feels more hygienic overall.
It is not as dramatic as the top TOTO RW with automatic opening and flushing, but I actually like that. It gives you the main comfort and hygiene benefits without feeling over-engineered. For a UK home where a wall-hung system is not practical, I think this is one of the strongest options.
