Before purchasing this replacement part for a client, please verify the exact model number on the WASHLET® rating plate. The TCM7020 remote does not include the auto-flush trigger button, so fitting it to an RX EWATER+ Auto Flush (TCF895CG) or SX EWATER+ Auto Flush (TCF897CG) unit will leave the auto-flush function permanently disabled. For genuine RG, RG Lite, RX EWATER+ and SX EWATER+ standard units, synchronisation is straightforward and guarantees zero call-backs. RG Lite ships with either hidden or side water connections, this affects installation only and not the remote control, so both variants pair correctly with TCM7020. Frequently Asked Questions
We strongly advise against fitting TCM7020 to an Auto Flush unit. The internal RF frequencies and button mapping differ between the standard and Auto Flush versions of RX and SX, so the remote will not pair correctly. Please contact our support team to confirm the correct Auto Flush remote for your model.
Check the model code printed on the rating plate on the underside of the WASHLET® seat unit. RX EWATER+ standard is TCF894CG and RX EWATER+ Auto Flush is TCF895CG. SX EWATER+ standard is TCF896CG and SX EWATER+ Auto Flush is TCF897CG. You can also check your existing remote, Auto Flush remotes have an additional flush-trigger button that standard remotes do not.
The TCM7020 product code is specifically for the spare remote control unit only. If you require a replacement magnetic wall hanger, please contact our support team to verify stock of the separate bracket component.
Pairing is straightforward. Insert fresh batteries, and the remote will automatically emit the correct signal to sync with your TOTO RG, RG Lite, RX EWATER+ or SX EWATER+ unit. Consult your original WASHLET® user manual for model-specific reset instructions if the unit does not respond immediately.
