Design Note: The WASHLET™ RG Lite comes with side connections. To completely hide the water and power connections inside the ceramic bowl (as shown in product images), the optional Hidden Connection Set (TCA567) is required.

Costs an arm and a leg but completely worth it review by Gary T. from Devon on 5/7/2026Bought this for my disabled wife as she was struggling with standard toilets and we needed something with a wash function. Never thought I'd pay this much for a toilet tbh. It sounds like madness but you really do get what you pay for with Toto.
Because its the close coupled version all the ugly wires and water pipes are hidden away neat at the back, looks like a normal modern loo. The built in smell extractor is brilliant too (actually keeps the bathroom smelling fresh instead of the alternative!). Word of warning if your fitting it yourself though, do not take your old loo out untill you have sat down and read the manual front to back twice. It is complicated to pipe up.
Having the remote control on the wall is miles better than them ones with the control panel attached to the side of the seat. My wife cant twist round to look at buttons so having the remote right in front of her is spot on. The wash settings are dead easy to figure out. The only thing this model doesn't have is a built in warm air dryer. But the seat is heated anyway so if you just take you time and relax its no big deal really.
Massive thanks to the customer service team who even told me how to get the VAT knocked off because it was for a disabled user and helped sort the paperwork. Brilliant service, you dont see that much anymore from online shops. 5 stars from us -

We originally wanted a wall-hung shower toilet, but our bathroom layout and existing plumbing made that more complicated than expected. This close-coupled TOTO set turned out to be the better solution. It still looks modern, especially with the hidden connections, but we avoided a much bigger building job.

We wanted a proper upgrade without ripping the whole bathroom apart. This was ideal and looks tidy, plumbing is nicely hidden, and it’s been reliable from day one. Friends come over and immediately ask what it is.
