Maro LuxSTA17: The Definition of Italian Brassware
The Maro LuxSTA17 is not merely a bathroom utility; it is a testament to forty years of metallurgical expertise. Crafted entirely in our workshops in San Maurizio d'Opaglio—the world-renowned district for high-quality brass manufacturing—this bidet sprayer represents the perfect synthesis of safety, aesthetics, and function.
Authentic Italian Heritage
"We begin every piece from a solid brass bar to ensure structural integrity."
The "Sicuracqua" Safety System
Standard shower hoses are not engineered to withstand constant static water pressure. To safeguard your home, the LuxSTA17 is equipped with the Sicuracqua Safety Corner Valve. This ingenious system enforces a "water closure obligation":
- 1. In Use: Rotate the holder to open the valve and release the hand shower.
- 2. After Use: You simply cannot replace the shower head without rotating the holder back, which automatically isolates the water supply. Zero risk of leaks.

Superior Quality Easy to Install. review by Baker on 1/31/2016We have to move every so often because of our professional occupation, so installing an expensive bidet is not an option in rental homes. I initially had ordered this and the Maro mix1 hot/cold valve mixer, and ended up returning that since I wasn't as bothered by the cold water as I thought I'd be (at least not enough to install that secondary attachment). I have never used a bidet before this, and it was a learning curve to angle the stream so water wasn't shooting everywhere, and sometimes I still need to wipe up excess water around the toilet, but this has changed my life significantly. After having children, it seemed like I had to wipe constantly with as many as 10 baby wipes to feel clean after a bowel movement (never had problems before kids), and I started to develop itchy, weeping rashes a year ago. It got to the point that I had to take drugs (prescribed) just to get through the day so I wasn't itching frantically during the day. It was that bad. I finally began researching everything when my care provider suggested I might have some sort of horrible viral skin disease down there- which turned out not to be true, thankfully. Once I started to use this, I have never suffered from that horrible itching and swelling again. The rash may have been the chemicals/preservatives from the wipes (which are actually quite bad-please rethink using them on children/infants) and the repeated friction from wiping. As an additional note, I have never had a problem with this device leaking-even when I've accidentally forgot to shut off the valve (a couple times even over a long weekend).
