Does this model have a dryer or heated seat?

No. The AquaClean Alba focuses on the core washing function. It does not have a warm air dryer or seat heating. For those features, please look at the AquaClean Sela or Mera models.

What installation parts do I need?

You need a standard wall-hung frame (like the Geberit Duofix Sigma 112cm). You also need a mains electrical connection positioned behind the toilet.

Is it easy to clean?

Yes. The toilet features the KeraTect® special glaze, which is extremely smooth and dirt-repellent. Combined with the rimless design and QuickRelease seat (which pulls off easily), cleaning is effortless.

Descaling Made Easy
The Geberit Home App will notify you when descaling is required. Simply pour the descaling agent into the dedicated opening and run the program.

    Just to clarify, I’m reviewing my new Geberit AquaClean Alba shower toilet here, not the seller. The quality feels top-notch, and the Bluetooth and app work a treat.

    However: I hadn't realised that it’s fitted with a boiler tank rather than a continuous flow heater. This means the cleaning cycle is rather brief. According to the catalogue, it’s supposed to last 20 seconds, but mine doesn't quite manage that. If you turn the pressure up a notch, it’s all over in a few seconds. If you press the button again for a second go, it takes what feels like ages before the spray is ready for action again.

    In my experience, this shower toilet simply isn't suitable for a proper, thorough clean. At this price point, I’d assumed a continuous flow heater would be standard. My own fault, I suppose—didn't read the small print properly, as usual...

    We were redecorating our en-suite and wanted something timeless but with modern tech. This fits the bill beautifuly. The pan is very elegant, not too bulky, and the seat sits flush with it (pardon the pun) so theres no big ugly gap.
