Game changer review by LL Johnson on 6/20/2022User response:Technical equipment:Product QualityPrice:
To me less than 10 minutes to install and, silly as it sounds, this toilet seat really is a game changer. My only regret is that I have not found this astonishingly simple solution many years ago. I fancied a bidet whenever returning from the Mediterranean and just assumed it must be complicated or expensive to fit into existing bathrooms. It is not!

British buyers be aware review by Nannywhoknits on 10/16/2020Technical equipment:Product QualityPrice:User response:
We haven't used this yet but passing on feedback from our installer.
The seat kit does not include non-return valve for the water supply. These are required in the UK (to avoid contamination of the drinking water supply). Tooaleta confirmed that this needs to be purchased separately.
The hot water supply pipe has a tiny bore compared to the cold. Installer said that this may be fine for European pressurised systems but for UK tank-supplied system, it may prove difficult to get sufficient hot water through to get a balanced temperature.
On the positive side, it looks very neat - not over clunky.
Our installer had his assistant rolling around with laughter as he managed to get soaked when leaning over the toilet to test the spray action. Hint - have some cling film handy to place over the bowl when you are at that stage. -
There's a learning curve review by DanT on 10/11/2020Technical equipment:Product QualityPrice:User response:
Replaced a cheaper version that tended to splash around water too much with this unit. This works much better and the over spray is reduced greatly, aim is perfect. You will need to learn how to flow through the control properly, in the "clean" cycle, it tends to get a bit of spray everywhere, but then you move quickly to the "spray" cycle and that's what cleans your bottom, works wonderfully.

Pleasantly functional review by Shoyru on 9/29/2020Technical equipment:Product QualityPrice:User response:
I've had it for about 9 months so far.
Installation:
The bidet wasn't exactly "hard" to install, it was more just my inexperience with plumbing and having to switch out copper supply pipes for flexible ones, checking for leaks, drilling a hole in my vanity to pass the hot water tube through and all that, but in the end the connections where the hot and cold tubes connect to the bidet itself, actually leaked. I had to put tons of plumbers tape to get them to stop leaking. The final time i taped it, when i tested the pressure, the connection shot out a little mist spray at my bathroom vanity cabinet and then hasn't leaked since. I am very careful about never touching the connections out of fear it would spring some sort of leak again. I ended up having to use the like "last resort" mounting holes in the seat bracket, because I needed my seat as far foward as possible to align with the edge of my toilet. The seat is actually really comfortably shaped, and doesn't cause nearly as much tingling or numbness in the legs as do standard toilet seats if you are sitting for a couple minutes.
Use:
I was worried about the water pressure because my home has somewhat inconsistent water pressure at times, but the pressure is strong--sometimes even too strong, but thats not entirely a bad thing considering the product was able to take this inconsistent water pressure and turn it into a strong jet. I found that I can actually purposefully get the pressure to be a little weaker, if upon activating the bidet spray, I turn the dial a little bit back towards "off" or "self clean" and the spray weakens for a bit instead of the nozzles immediately retracting. As much as i installed both a hot and cold water line, I end up preferring to have the mixer dial more towards cold, because thats not nearly as jarring as getting blasted with scalding water when someone opens a cold faucet elsewhere in the house, taking from your cold water supply. I do enjoy the unit and it does cut down on toilet paper usage.
Cleaning the unit:
I wash the water jets with soap and water at least once weekly and I haven't had any issues with visible bacteria or mold growth. After gently pulling on the nozzles to expose them and soaping them down with a paper napkin, I let them sit for a few minutes and then close the seat lid and run the self clean function on each nozzle to rinse the soap out. The self-clean kind of splatters in a mist and sometimes that water can spray out under the front of the seat misting your bathroom floor. I've only used the quick release on the mounting bracket maybe two or three times to get a decent clean under the seat. I haven't wanted to remove the seat any more often than that in fear of bumping the water connections. I recommend spraying a napkin with a mild cleaner and then wiping the seat and all of its outer casings to clean it, instead of spraying the seat directly--because the sprayed cleaner runs down the seat and seeps between the hardware and causes some rusty colored liquid to gather underneath the mounting bracket. I check the mounting bolts for tightness once in a while if i notice the seat has any extra wobble to it (not often).

Awkward installation review by Abbas on 1/14/2020Technical equipment:Product QualityPrice:User response:
the install was annoying for me as I had a rigid pipe setup with not enough distance to add a t-adapter and flexible hose so I had to go hunting for a solid pipe to fill in the space. However the seat does do the job exceptionally well and with its sleek and subtle design unlike the bidet attachments it fits in just nicely.

Unusual to say the least. review by Be Tom on 12/22/2019Product QualityPrice:User response:Technical equipment:
I really do not know how to start reviewing this and be delicate. Here goes. The seat is comfortable and the controls are astonishing and easy to operate. All in all they are very good indeed and at the risk of using a double entendre they do the job.
