Hygiene is paramount. The washing wand stays completely hidden behind a hygienic cover flap when not in use. This ensures it never comes into contact with waste or dirty water.
The "Hidden" Advantage:
The wand extends at a precise angle from above the bowl rim. This gravity-defying design ensures that soiled water falls away from the nozzle, keeping the mechanism pristine.
Before and after every single use, the Washlet automatically cleans the wand jet with water.
Antibacterial Coating:
Many models, particularly from TOTO, coat the wand in a special silicone alloy. This material is naturally antibacterial and extremely smooth, making it nearly impossible for dirt to stick. This allows the system to remain clean using only water—no harsh chemicals required.
The standard wash mode. The water jet delivers a precise, strong stream designed to thoroughly clean the rear intimate area. The water is aerated (infused with air bubbles) to ensure the clean is effective yet gentle, minimizing unnecessary splashing.
Designed specifically for female intimate hygiene. This mode uses a different nozzle array to produce larger, softer water droplets. It provides a gentle, wide-coverage wash for a fresh, clean feeling.
Oscillating: The wand moves back and forth automatically to cover a wider area, ensuring a complete clean.
